Remote multidecks have the refrigeration system external to the case and require professional installation by a qualified refrigeration engineer. The display section is connected to the refrigeration unit by a series of pipes which transfer the cold and warm air.
Perfect for smaller premises where air flow is reduced and may hinder refrigeration.
There is no noise or heat from the refrigeration unit within the building due to the motor being fitted externally, up to 15 metres away from the multideck itself (although longer distances are possible). This creates a quieter shop floor and more comfortable ambient temperatures within the premises.
As there is no refrigeration built-in to the equipment, the space that would be used for such purposes can be put to other uses, namely extra storage space. Generating a larger capacity than integral multidecks, remote options are perfect for businesses with large storage and display demands.
Although more expensive intially, remote refrigeration proves to be more cost effective and efficient in the long-run.
