Choosing a glasswasher for a pub or bar

Start with the number and size of glasses you need to wash during your busiest period. A compact machine may suit a small bar, while a larger basket can reduce the number of loads in a busy venue. Compare the stated cycle time and basket capacity for each model rather than assuming all undercounter machines have the same output.

Basket size and glass clearance

Measure your pint glasses, wine glasses and cocktail glassware before choosing a machine. Basket dimensions and maximum usable glass height are separate specifications: a glass must fit safely in the basket and clear the wash chamber. Gravity drain or drain pump?
