Cleaning Cloths

Cleaning Cloths are essential for maintaining hygiene and presentation in busy Irish kitchens, bars, cafes and washrooms. This range covers non-woven, sponge and microfiber cloths, as well as specialist glass, dish and oven cloths for front and back of house. Use them for wiping down food prep areas, polishing glassware, cleaning equipment and managing spills quickly and safely. Colour-coded options help prevent cross-contamination, while heavy duty and lint free designs support professional standards and efficient service.

  • Non-woven cleaning cloths in colour-coded packs for single-use or short-term use where hygiene control is critical.
  • Microfiber and micro glass cloths that trap grease, dirt and bacteria while delivering a streak-free finish on glass and stainless steel.
  • Heavy duty oven and standard oven cloths designed for handling hot trays and wiping cooking equipment safely.
  • Glass cloths in multiple colours for polishing stemware, bar glasses and tableware without leaving lint or smears.
  • Sponge cleaning cloths and dish cloths for everyday wiping, washing up and general back of house cleaning tasks.
  • Lint free cloths ideal for final polishing of metal, glass and display surfaces in restaurants, hotels and bars.

How to choose the right Cleaning Cloths

  • Start by matching cloth type to task: non-woven for single-use hygiene, microfiber for repeated use, and sponge or dish cloths for general washing up.
  • Consider colour-coding to separate food prep, bar, washroom and front of house areas and reduce the risk of cross-contamination.
  • Check sizes and pack quantities to suit your operation, from small cafes to high-volume hotels and contract catering sites.
  • Choose specialist glass and lint free cloths where streak-free presentation of glassware and display units is a priority.
  • Opt for heavy duty oven cloths where staff regularly handle hot trays, pans and oven doors for added safety and durability.
  • Review laundering requirements and whether you prefer disposable or reusable cloths based on labour, storage and hygiene policies.

Care and maintenance

  • Wash reusable cloths at the recommended temperature with suitable detergent to remove grease, food residues and bacteria.
  • Store colour-coded cloths separately in clean, dry areas so they are not mixed between kitchen, bar and washroom zones.
  • Replace non-woven and disposable cloths frequently, especially after contact with raw meat, washrooms or chemical spills.
  • Avoid using fabric softeners on microfiber cloths, as they can reduce absorbency and cleaning performance.
  • Inspect oven and heavy duty cloths regularly for thinning or damage and replace them to maintain heat protection.
  • Allow cloths to dry fully between uses to minimise odours and bacterial growth, and dispose of heavily soiled items promptly.

Pair your cleaning cloths with our cleaning chemicals, buckets, mops and washroom products to build a complete hygiene system for your business.
