The Rockingham Forge Combination 400 & 1000 Grit (Coarse/Medium) whetstone in the Sharpening Kit is significantly harder than traditional whetstones, resulting in slower wear. It is designed to sharpen knives more efficiently and is particularly effective for ultra-hard Japanese steels such as SG-2, HDP-40, and ZDP-189. The sharpening kit includes the combination whetstone, a protective storage box, a flattening stone, and two angle guides.
