Suitable cookware

Use flat-bottom steel, cast-iron, enamelled-iron or stainless-steel cookware with a diameter from 12 to 20 cm.

The manual lists heat-resistant glass, ceramic, copper and aluminium cookware as unsuitable.

It also excludes rounded-bottom cookware and bases under 12 cm.

Place suitable cookware in the centre of the top plate before switching on.

Controls

Heating starts at 1200 W and is adjustable from 500 W to 2000 W.

Temperature mode starts at 180°C and is adjustable from 60°C to 240°C.

The timer is adjustable from 0 to 180 minutes and is cancelled by returning it to 0.

If the timer is not set above 120 minutes, the appliance switches off automatically after two hours without an operation.

Safety and cleaning

If the cooking surface is cracked, switch off the unit and take it to a service centre.

Keep the air intake and exhaust vent clear.

Do not touch the top plate immediately after removing cookware because it remains very hot.

Disconnect the plug and wait until the unit is completely cool before cleaning.

Use dishwashing agent and a damp cloth, and vacuum dirt from the air intake and exhaust vent.

Never run water over the unit.
