Check power and position
If the cabinet fails to cool, check whether the reason is a power cut. Place the cabinet in a dry and ventilated place.
Keep the cabinet away from heat-emitting sources. Do not expose the cabinet to direct sunlight. Leave at least 10 cm of free space around the cabinet for proper ventilation.
After moving the cabinet, let it sit for a couple of hours so the refrigerant can settle.
Check climate, door use and loading
The GUC climate limit is a maximum temperature of 30°C and relative humidity of 55%.
For a compressor that keeps running while the inside temperature is too high, the troubleshooting table lists frequent door opening as a possible issue. Reduce the number of door openings.
The same troubleshooting row lists too much food stored at once as another possible issue. Remove some food from the cabinet.
Check airflow maintenance
Clean the condenser every month. Do not place items on top of the cabinet because this hinders airflow.
When to stop
Contact the dealer immediately in case of any malfunction. Repairs should be carried out only by a skilled technician familiar with the product.
