Before operation

If the appliance was not stored or moved upright, leave it upright for approximately 12 hours before operation. The manual says to allow it to stand if there is doubt. Before first use, clean the shelves and interior with soapy water. Maintain 20 cm between the appliance and walls or other objects. Increase this distance if the obstacle is a heat source. Set the brakes on the castors to keep the appliance in position, or level it by adjusting the feet.

Switch on

Close the doors. Make sure the power switch is set to O and turn on at the socket. Turn the appliance power switch to I.

Food loading

Only store food after the appliance reaches the correct operating temperature. Do not place uncovered hot food or liquid inside. Wrap or cover food where possible. Do not obstruct the fans inside the appliance. Avoid opening the doors for prolonged periods. The manual says gastronorm bays are to be full at all times, even when gastronorms are unused or empty. It says empty bays greatly reduce the efficiency of the appliance. Always close the lid when it is not in use.
