Combisteel 7049.0020 First Use and Daily Cleaning Checklist

Connection and damage checks

Have specialist personnel make the electrical connection and protective-earth connection.

Do not connect the grill through an extension cable or a multi-socket.

Do not connect the device if visible damage is present.

Cable or other part repairs are reserved for Combisteel or its authorised services.

Protect the power switch, socket, plug and motor from impacts.

Do not close the side gate quickly.

First use and shutdown

Before first operation, remove the exterior protective films without detergent or sharp objects.

A light odour during first heating is evaporation of protective oil on the heaters and is not a failure.

When the connected appliance is plugged in, the yellow warning light comes on.

Turn a power switch clockwise to a level to start heating.

After cooking, turn the power switches anticlockwise and unplug the grill.

Cleaning

Unplug the grill and wait until it is cold before cleaning.

Open control-board lock 10, separate the hinged body and clean with a brush.

Clean the bricks and stainless body only with a soapy cloth.

Never use water, vapour or similar pressurised cleaning materials.

External checks before service

If the unit does not operate, check the network connection and yellow light.

If it does not heat, check that the power switch is set to a level.

Repairs are for authorised service, and the body must not be opened.
